Korean Memorial (OVER 8,000 MISSING IN ACTION)

Tough to imagine that 5.8 millions Americans served during the 3 year period of the Korean War.

 

 

The wreaths are being prepared.

 

 

Korean veterans are first.

 

 

FREEDOM for us because others have DARED to STAND FIRM for our DECLARATION and to STEP FORWARD to defend our nation, or as the BIBLE says in EXODUS to GO FORTH WITH FAITH. So let us all cast FEAR ASIDE as we  SALUTE our FLAG and PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO OUR REPUBLIC.

 

 

The wreaths again have been placed as we have TEARS OF HAPPINESS AND SORROW at the same time.

 

 

The reflective pool is similar to the larger one at the Lincoln Memorial.

 

 

Over 2,400 soldiers are etched in the wall and you can see the reflective veteran in blue in this photo.

 

 

In this etching you can also see the reflective person in red.

 

 

Airplanes give one an Erie feeling of being safe in our country.
